Clinical Consultation
One of my greatest passions is teaching and training therapists. I deeply enjoy exploring different approaches together and helping other therapists develop their own clinical style of implementing different psychotherapies.
In my private practice, I provide clinical consultation to trainees, newly licensed therapists, and seasoned clinicians. Within the Palo Alto VA, I have provided clinical training, consultation, and supervision to postdoctoral fellows, psychology interns, Stanford medical students, Stanford psychiatry residents, and practicum students. I co-facilitated group supervision of group therapy and participated in a multidisciplinary Dialectical Behavior Therapy consultation team.
My areas of training expertise are Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I love helping therapists develop rich conceptualizations and learn how to integrate interventions from these approaches within their own clinical style.
My consultation approach is grounded in evidence-based theories and practices while emphasizing the importance of flexibility and tailoring to each specific client’s needs and multicultural context. I am happy to speak with you about your training needs and determine if we are a good fit.
